Aden cares about your privacy. We process personal data in line with GDPR, the Danish Data Protection Act, and other applicable laws.
This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data when you use Aden, including aden.space, our apps, workspaces, billing tools, fan tools, integrations, and related services.
Aden is a workspace for artists and music teams to manage music, files, lyrics, credits, splits, releases, and collaboration.
If you use Aden, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services.
Aden ApS acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, except in cases where we act explicitly as a data processor on behalf of a team, artist, label, manager, or other customer using our Services.

Aden may act as either:

Data processor, when a customer uses Aden to manage personal data inside a workspace and we act on their instructions.
If you run a workspace or team, you are responsible for having a valid legal basis for the personal data you upload and manage.

Business data, such as billing address, company name, invoicing details, VAT number, and communication preferences.
Collaboration data, such as team membership, comments, notes, messages, tasks, calendars, and project history.
Music and content data, such as audio files, lyrics, credits, splits, metadata, release plans, artwork, file names, tags, and version history.
Rights data, such as artist and collaborator names, PRO details, IPI or CAE numbers, ISRCs, UPCs, and contract or ownership information.
Payment data, such as subscription status, payment confirmations, and transaction IDs.
Technical data, such as IP address, browser, device type, app version, logs, crash reports, cookies, and usage data.
Support data, such as emails, attachments, bug reports, surveys, and interview notes.
We do not store full payment card numbers.

Aden does not own the music or other content you upload.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload and share the content.
We may process files and metadata for storage, previews, search, syncing, permissions, and collaboration.
We will not use private music files, lyrics, or unreleased content to train general-purpose AI models unless we clearly tell you first and get any consent or authorization required by law.

Some service providers may be outside the EEA.
